but then i notice that its in the middle of the night...
same hurrr, hopefully orgo goes well !
i'm thinking about getting orgo as a second language
i have the book right now, but i don't understand anything.
But it looks like a pretty decent book that narrows everything down and easy to read/follow.
I need to buy the real thing i rented it from the library to check it out before i buy the real thing.
I still gotta take physics and i might get the physics as a second language.

It's really helpful 👍
is there any other one that is better?
it's that bad?![]()
That's the only one I used. It breaks everything down so well. I had a good textbook, too. I didn't always read it though 😛
that's good to know. i'm definitely getting the book. now i need to scour amazon for cheap prices 😀
I liked orgo...when I see it on the BS section it makes me feel a little better...compared to when I see really dense bio passages
It's like 20 bucks or something. You could probably find a copy online for download![]()
well i understand the VERY beginning such as drawing lewis dots lol still kinda forget that tho. and gotta know orbitals/geometry which is easy.
The beginning is sorta basic such as drawing the compound and understanding bond line drawings.
The only way to learn this thing is too learn it first then practice.
Chapters:
-bond line drawings
-resonance
-acid-base
-geometry
-nomenclature
-conformations
-configuration
-mechanism
-substitution reactions
-elimination reaction
-addition reaction
-predicting products
-synthesis
I'm sure ozzi will be fine since he knows most of it from MCAT prep

are they lots of practice problems in it?
yeah i guess you're right but i think the mcat only touches the basics
yea esp for mechanisms. and for the rest yea...they kinda dumb it down and tell you the wrong and right way to solve problems.

The books i really like, that i needa check out is the series "for the utterly confused"
I read through the general chemistry one and it dumbed it down and i really liked it but i couldnt find the same series for other books.
i needa check those out.
awesome 👍
I stalked him in the 2018 thread...he no likey us anymore 🙁
On a side note, when is your MCAT, Goose? Friday?
Or use the for dummies books. They can be pretty good, too.
i think the book will be really good as a supplement which is whats its for. I def think it will help out a lot and you'll catch on solving problems faster than your fellow classmates, im planning on buying it.
the weird thing is tho....the book is really small and thin.
Hey tman! Yep test this Friday! I'm happy the stress hasn't quite set in yet. I know the night before the test is going to be brutal though 🙁
