Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

Stats isn't difficult by any means. You just have to put effort into it. Just because it's not calculus doesn't mean you can do it with your eyes closed. I mean guess you could if it was all in braille.

 I didn't like calc that much, but that's partially because my prof was teaching what he felt like. The stats classes at my school seem to have better profs :xf:

Really? My stats class was the blow off class of the century, and I'm not that amazing at math. Calculus 2 is my kryptonite.

That's what I've heard, too. Calc 1 is my kryptonite...

Just make sure it's a decent prof. I've learned to use ratemyprof to my advantage after freshman year 😳

It didn't help my grade that I attempted to learn the last few weeks of new material within the 15 minutes right before my final. I didn't even know it was there.

And then I got a B.

😱 That's saving it to the very very end 😱

I think I just got my first B in college algebra for god's sake...took the final yesterday..about to find out, but It's obvious.

It's their loss 😛 I tell everyone I know about it. People are just lazy to do a little searching sometimes.

This summer is strictly MCAT...and working for me 😛

That's rough stuff. If anything, I would look at that on an application and laugh. Especially if you were pulling A's in all of your Bios and Chems.

And then accept you on the spot.

yupp, just finished it yesterday, another summer session starts on Tuesday for me

😱 That's dedication. I wouldn't want to do two summer sessions, way too much cramming 😛

I don't know when I will have time to study for mine..

I'll finish all my pre-reqs spring of 2012, then taking my math courses during the summer, but i wanna study for the MCAT during that summer. I was thinking of starting to study right after spring is over and take the MCAT June-July not sure. I just want to be ready, but i kinda have to rush, but the MCAT is the heart of the application lol..

Yea i took it with A/P and got an A in that class.

All my other courses are good.

It would probably be best if you can put in 2-3 months just for MCAT. Math can wait.

how are you guys managing to graduate a year early? that's insanity.

😱 I'm trying my best not to graduate a year early 😛 In fact, I wouldn't mind taking a year off afterwards

idk i just think this whole process of med school + residency takes a lot of years. So might as well finish it up quick.

Great scheduling for sure.

I scheduled my whole degree the first day and don't listen to your advisors, be smart when to take your classes during certain semesters and know what type of courses are offered each semester. Also, take all short mesters.

It's all about making Junior year hell, so that you can treat Senior year like your Freshman year on steroids.
