After working 11 straight days, I finally have a couple off. Sometimes I tell myself "as an M3 you'll easily be working 60+ hour weeks" and that makes me feel better about working 88 this pay period (2 weeks).

That would make me feel worse. In fact, it does make me feel worse, and I'm not even working. 🙁

While we're off-topic talking about med school, I sometimes wonder how I'm going to make it through med school (particularly the clinical years). Then I think to myself "Self, it's too early to be thinking about that." Then I'm like "Self, you're right."

Pressure and thinking about worse situations is almost always a motivator/stress reliever for me. We'll see if that holds true next year though, lol.

It's kind of a "things are only going to get worse, you've got it good now" mentality. Makes me feel better.

I'm chomping at the bits to get started doing SOMETHING, but I'm taking the advice if other sdn members and not pre studying.

Lots of family guy, American dad, and futurama episodes are being watched at my place. Lol.

You guys are lucky. I wish I could just chill. Working sucks and next fall is going to be crazy. Enjoy this time. I know when I stop working I'm going to enjoy every second of it.

Once in a while I'll pick up one of my girlfriend's books.. then I'll put it right back down.

I'm bored though. Kind of want to sign up for a class or two at CC, but I'd rather waste the money in a more fun way.

Lol. I have a full time job as a high school biology teacher. Piece of cake after grad school tho. I get very bored after class and tend to read a lot.

I stop working in May and will start maki plans to move for school. County down the days until I can say "Deuces!"

Don't do it!! I took two classes at my old uni last semester because I was bored. Waste of money for two A's that mean nothing. Lol.

Well, it's January and I only have one acceptance with no IIs. I'd say the choice has been made. Not that I'm complaining. The school that accepted me is awesome IMO. Ill be happy spending 4 years there.

Bleh wait listed at BU. kind of happy though, their tuition and col is way high, but it would be hard to say no to an acceptance there.

Same here also. Not a highly ranked school, but I absolutely loved it at the interview day and it would be fairly cheap to attend (IS tuition for the last 3 years and COL is pretty low)

Yea I hear you. My girlfriend wants me to go so that she can apply for residencies in Boston (she's going to try and follow me), but her parents pay for everything and mine pay for nothing.. Way too expensive for me unless BU gives me a ton of money.
