He was basically extremely negligent, and significantly jeopardized our department. It wasn't caught until after he left (roughly a year later). I'm kind of hesitant to go in to specifics, but the negligence could have shut down our research group.

I kinda feel bad for the guy to be honest. He's going to have a really hard time finding a job/getting into school with this on his file.

That's my plan. But he wanted me to pick him up so I haven't had anything to drink yet. Screw this. I'm going to grab some 40s just in case. Great idea folks! Another day gone without manuscript progress. Argh! I also just got an email asking if we wanted to renew our IRB approval. It felt so good to say that we're in the process of writing it up for publication and expect to submit this month or the next at the latest, albeit a YEAR after we initially wanted to submit. LoL I heart NS. 😍

I already had a pitcher and a half. I am so buzzed right now. If only I didn't work at 9 tomorrow morning, I would keep drinking.

Actually, they probably are. It is in the bottom drawer where everything freezes after a day. I keep the beer in there so it is ice cold.
