Good lord. Original standby flight filled up overnight (who books 10 seats like that?!), so I had to fly from O'Hare to Newark, NY then take the shuttle to LaGuardia, where I am now chilling and waiting for my final flight. An adventurous day, to be sure.

Also, I haven't eaten anything yet today. And I don't feel like buying airport food at this point 😛

Maybe Caliban and As I Lay Dying are the only guys putting out music from them... maybe every now and then I branch out and download something from a new group.. Also get the free samplers every now and then. All started when a friend got me started on Converge back in HS :laugh:

Great bands. I have such an ecclectic and obscure taste that most people haven't even heard of my fav bands. I'm the same way, actually, but mostly listen to industrial now (e.g., Velvet Acid Christ, Hocico, Feindflug, Heimataerde, Amduscia, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, NIN).

I believe I read something similar yesterday, lol. Bt dubz? The grand total was 14 Irish stouts and black lagers in 4.25hrs. Result? An hour and ten minutes late to work and still buzzed when I arrived. Worth. It. LoL

Sticking with PC, might go linux as Windows continues to decline. I just can't stand not being able to get beneath the OS without special software in Macs, even though my first computer was a mac waaaaaaay back in the day, I had so much more fun in MS Dos and the like since the late 80s.

I think I'm pretty computer saavy but the battery on this PoS toshiba died and not worth it to buy a new one on a laptop that cost 300.

My gf has a MacBook and I swear that thing runs fast for the 4 years she had it. While my PCs slowed down a lot

I switched to Mac after YEARS of only using windows. I will never ever ever go back. I don't need to get down to the programming anymore. The battery is awesome and it never gets a virus or slows down.

If you're a PC gamer, a PC is a must. Otherwise, I guess you would be okay with a Mac.

Might I ask what discipline and style? I studied Ken Po and Tiger style Kung Fu. I miss the hell out of it and can't wait to get back into it. I refuse to practice anything else (but am open to all Kung Fu styles and would still learn Judo).

Did Tang Soo Do (off-shoot of Tae Kwan Do) for about eight-ish years formally. I was a first-dan black belt when I stopped officially doing it. I've been on-and-off practicing since then but am nowhere near in the shape I was at my peak. It used to be that I could kick three targets in the air (left, right, front) before hitting the ground.
 
Just got my financial aid information from Creighton. Even with a scholarship I am frowning...

I havent got my financial aid but im guessing it will be around 300k for me. Kinda scary since I graduated undergrand with 0 debt.

Welp time to be a gunner and do dermneuroradioplastic surgery

Holy crap! Strong work there buddy! That takes a lot of practice and dedication. I unfortunately found Ken Po (United Studios) and moved as soon as I got my orange belt. Same concept with Kung Fu (they use weapons rather than belts to symbolize rank). The nearest United Studios is in Atlanta :si: (pun intended lol)

But you'll be fine. $300k isn't that bad considering you have no other debt. I have $125k from undergrad, only 15k of which is federal :/

I was the "star student" who forgot my belt when I went to test at a national black belt test. Whoops. Luckily people had spares.

Hahaha, nice! Don't feel bad, I wore my home football jersey to an away game in middle school bc I had no idea there was a difference. And now I'm a football fanatic with so much Raiders merchandise I look like a living advertisement. I have Raiders Tupperware for goodness sake! LoL But to be fair, it's my mother in law that keeps buying all of it for me. I'm not complaining though. 🙂
