I was reading the 6/16 MCAT thread and their VR score horrors make me scared...

It's not too bad, at least when things make sense. Sometimes I just want to give up, but I just find some motivation to push through 😛

I need to start major studying. It's hard with three classes during the summer and working to stay focused. 🙁

Must do it. You guys have to kick me in the a55 to get moving. Less SDN and more stuyding. :laugh:

I'm off to watch some Teen Mom before I go to bed. That makes me feel better about myself. Even if I score a 22 on the MCAT, I'm still not as much of a train wreck as those chicks.
 
I'm going to have to go with The Glee Project reality show as my guilty pleasure... don't know if that can be beat 😳

OMG, first Glee ruined my MCAT studying (I watched all two seasons... and some episodes more than once), and then I started playing this video game I had lying around casually. So yeah, I feel you bro. I've been taking the Kaplan course since early June and obviously going to class/learning a lot from that (I have an awesome instructor), but my self-studying has been PALTRY. I'm not even a 1/4 done with content review. Screwed much? Thoughts? Only score so far: Kaplan FL 1 (PS 8, VR 9, BS 9 Essays 5 and 6--> ~26R/S). Crap.
 
Took another practice test. Verbal score tanked 3 points. I hate it so much with a passion. I wish I could get someone to take verbal for me. I'll trade for someone else's science sections.
 
Season 5 was pretty bad. Not something you want to lose studying over.

It's a saying in Cheaper by the Dozen, but after a while, they start sliding out (or was it popping out).

NickNaylor's is a little bit harder cause he did it taking a full class load and some Ec's plus he solely used the EK series and aamc practice test. as or me, i need more than just the EK series unless you are a genius like nick then go for it.

you need to hit the books some more to increase that score to a 30. it is definitely doable since that is your first practice test score.

Scored 29% above the the median/mean on my orgo II test yesterday. Feels good.
 
taking the mcat without ochem 2...bad idea? seems like that's whats gonna happen for me.
 
I just saw Captain America. It was really good, but the sexual tension between him and the main female was too much to bear. I was to the point of tears at the end because it was so obvious they wanted to mate but couldn't. And that actress looked really cute in her 1940s get-up. She was pretty darn attractive. I need to stop finding fictitious characters attractive. It's unhealthy.

Anyways, time to hit the books. Maybe I can absorb something despite this massive headache.

Doesn't seem so bad. You can definitely teach yourself everything. Nowhere near as bad as not taking phys2 or something.
