I wish I could but then who pays the bills...in all honestly I really only need like 3 days off to get bored with not having anything to do. I would rather have a little nest egg set aside than worrying about money during school.

Yeah theres nothing wrong with that. I saved up during the year so I have a little cushion. The main reason I quit was so i could chill with my wife and daughter. I have to leave them here for a semester and head to school alone so Im trying to get all the time with them I can lol

Yeah, that's why I need to leave my boyfriend behind...but that's nothing like leaving a daughter behind! Will she be finished in a semester or a full year? Then will your family move to be with you?

August 5th...womp womp 😛. Although I have had so much time off of school (+5 years) that I am ready to hit the books.

I feel for you man! I am married as well, and I can't imagine spending a semester away from her let alone a daughter. I wish you the best because you have a tough semester ahead of you!

She will be done in december with student teaching then they will move up with me. Luckily she will have a bunch of family support here for her. I'm really gonna hurt leaving my little one though. That kid is my world...

Is that where Seattle is located? I thought that was were Olympia was. They even put a star labeling it on the map! Seattle is not the capital of Washington.

I saw an image a UCSD neurologist used in a lecture that labeled UCLA around Sacramento and UCSF/UCD close to the Oregon border. It made me lol.

I hope I will! Its a little over a 4 hour drive to get home so I hope we get to see each other often. Hopefully school will take my mind off of it lol

Greetings from Vegas poolside. With a margarita in hand. The struggle is so real.
 
It's really cool that everyone and their mother decided to take off work today leaving me thousands and thousands of blood and urine samples. Apparently people like to do their blood tests before long weekends.

My 1 hour lunch break just got cut down to 10 minutes. Back to work 🙁.

Haha I think this is universally true. There are like 50 people waiting to get drawn right now and only one phlebotomist. And I can't draw anymore because of a new policy (I only took the 2 day phlebotomy class, not the semester-long one).

Ugh, I would think people would be traveling today instead of going to doctors appts/getting blood drawn. Hopefully it calms down in the evening though.

No plans really. Going to my girlfriend's parents house to drink, BBQ, and chill for the weekend. I am so happy I don't have to work Monday.

That's no fun. The only upside of this weekend (with so much packing to do 🙁 ) is that Monday is off... I want more 3 day weekends...

I used tl;dr in a work email, and then I had to explain what it meant, and then I got laughed at 🙁
 
I'm seriously surprised at the number of people who don't wash their hands after using the restroom. Makes me think twice about the slots.

Edit: actually makes me think twice about everything here.
