Class of 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yeah, especially when you're reviewing and not hearing it for the first time.

I used to skip lecture, listen to podcasts at regular speed while pausing and taking notes, and then re-read my outlines / re-writing notes on scratch paper to help solidify what I'd learned. That system worked really well for me, but I'm not quite sure how I'm going to approach med school yet.

You could've gotten top while you're at it... :nono::nono:

Totally feel like this at work today.

Stealing this gif.

Being so antisocial right now. SDNing in a room full of strangers. I ain't even mad.

Totally jogged 3 miles. It wasn't bad at all, but that's because I did it at a 10 minute mile pace with my fiancée.

I will go for a speed mile later today.

Haha i was gonna drive out to NY if I don't get off the WL here in CA. Are you driving your own car?

ROAD TRIP!

Side note, I'm super irrationally paranoid that I somehow screwed something up and I'm not really going to medical school in August. I think I'm going to feel that way until I pay that first tuition check or orientation day or something. Anyone else feel that way, or is it just me? :scared:

Don't tell mcloaf but I gave a tour of the Pullman WWAMI building and the campus to another UW student.

The person had been placed in Pullman and was bummed but after touring the campus, seeing the faculties and everything about the town, the person is pumped.

Plus, I am jealous. We used to have just a bouldering wall but it had to be torn down and couldn't be moved for insurance purposes. So what does my school do?

It starts to build a big rock climbing wall and bouldering cave.

That wall is rad! Definitely jealous of that one... Some of the bouldering gyms here are like that but definitely none at school.

I feel the same way. Everyday I feel like I'm gonna get a call saying they made a mistake or I screwed something up etc. etc.

Haha I just keep thinking that I am not going to get all of the required items in before the deadline and they are going to rescind my acceptance 🙁. That would be horrible.

Yep thats my big concern as well!

For some reason I'm most concerned I screwed up financial aid somehow and they're going to tell me I missed all the deadlines for paying my bills. Especially because my school still hasn't released final financial aid numbers. They've been completely silent since I withdrew all my other acceptances and it's making me nervous!

I was also unreasonably worried that My Heb B titre would come back negative and I would have to redo the whole 4 month process, thus not being ready in time for matriculation. Apparently sometimes even those who have been vaccinated show up neg and have to do it over. Thankfully that was all good so I'm on to other things to worry about. I did get a false positive on the second step of the TB test and had to get stupid chest x-rays.
