Today is NIH Director's Award Ceremony Day! 👍 But they decided to have it late in the day so I'm never going to make it home thanks to the awful traffic at that time of day. 👎 Come on Francis Collins, why couldn't you have had it a little earlier? 🙁
 
I just have to survive three more days of work and then I'm going on vacation!!! Ahh these next three days cannot pass quick enough!

I get my second PPD today. Hopefully they don't screw it up again.

It's kind of stupid we have to do this on our own though. My school will redo the PPDs when we are at orientation so everyone is on the same cycle.

My titer/immunization paperwork is due July 1st but I don't even get back to Mericuh until Monday. I have a doctors appointment Tuesday at 8 am...hopefully I can get it all taken care of quickly.

You should be fine. The titers are pretty quick. I think I'm just going to get EVERYTHING titerd. It appears Vandy lost a bunch of my original dates 😡

Except PPD, clearly. Now that I have even more tats, I dread getting that done. The nurses are always like, "Uhm...where the hell can we...?" LoL

Honestly, I haven't found a single reason to stick with Xbox (and I've owned them since the beginning). The ps4 has a better gpu, the same cpu, doesn't require a constant internet connection to play games offline, doesn't prevent you from buying/selling used games, and to top it all off, is $100 less.

I'm hoping to get by with just my Xbox 360 Elite I already have. Probably won't play much anyway.

Yeah I'll keep mine to. To be honest I just really want to play Grand Theft Auto 5 when it comes out.

Yeah dude, it's pretty awesome. If you like tech stuff it's a lot of fun to build your own, and it's basically all plug and play these days anyway. It's not really even fair to compare computing power/graphics between consoles and PCs.

Whether or not getting into it right before med school starts is a good idea, well, I'll leave that up to you...

Plus you get more bang for your buck if you BYOPC. The only downside is troubleshooting, but if you do it properly it'll last you a while. And you can upgrade individual parts easily!

Hahaha nah, I'm not doing it to get ahead or anything. I just have all these ideas in my head and I love writing/researching. My gf is usually my writing partner but since she is applying to this cycle I figure she has enough things to write about.
