I'm taking a practice test right now. I got boned so hard on the VR section... Time to finish the essay and BS section now. Hopefully PS wasn't that bad.

Good idea. I should probably do that. I think it's partially the summer or sleeping late. It's much easier to wake up at school 😕

it's funny how ppl sleep so late and wake up in the afternoon and are still tired
 
Honestly I'm not really worried about my grades, more worried for the MCAT, that's make it or break it...and if you don't you have to retake/apply next year..sucks

From my experience that's just how it's always been for me. If I sleep earlier, I can wake up earlier and not be tired, but when I sleep late and wake up like 10hrs later, I'll still be tired. Maybe it's because my body is used to a certain way of sleeping :laugh:

Same here. Even if I get B's in organic, I'll still have a good enough GPA. The MCAT, could murder me. 🙁

Well, for someone with very good grades, I'd say it would be at least a little easier to do well on the MCAT. If the pre-reqs are fresh in your mind it'll be a lot easier to do content review. All you'll have to learn is how to adjust to the MCAT style.

But it all depends on the studying, there are ppl with nice grades but bomb the MCAT even after multiple practice tests.

it's just scary man ;p

Yeah, it is. I'm a little scared to take it. I've been studying and doing practice, but I'm still not adjusted to the ways of the MCAT 😛

That is how I feel about it. I perform well in class but standarized tests (outside of the NCLEX) I suck.

see I can't really study for it right now, I'll be ready for it after spring 2012 and i have like a 2 month gap to "study" for it. And during that "study" time --the summer when i apply ill be taking summer courses. I'll have to submit the app before I even take the MCAT and wait to take it and release scores.

yea i usually score very average on standardized tests, always have...well actually with minimal studying. The last standardized test i took i broke off at a very avg score but i didn't even know one of the subjects in the test at the time, so i guess if i did i coulda done better.

I wouldn't recommend that. Studying for the MCAT should be a priority. It's one of the biggest tests we'll ever take. I would rather take the classes a little later and study more or put off the MCAT until you're done with classes.
