yeah i read your post yesterday about your family issues so that's why i'm asking about the mcat. anyway man, it's cool to delay and take the test when you're ready. you still have atleast 9 months ahead of you to take before app cycle runs late. I am sorry to hear about your family's situation but i'm more than sure things will sort themselves out eventually. :xf:

Thanks man. I really appreciate the support 🙂 I'm sure we'll figure something out soon enough. Dads been thinking about opening a business in his line of work anyway.

Dad wants to sell all of our property back in bangladesh to try and open a business
 
Kinda crazy how things work, but this will probably end up being for the better. No point working for a business full of corrupt employees.

yeah i know the feeling bro. my parents are divorced and i'm staying with my mother. she's been sick for a while now like 2 years now from diabetes and gastroparesis. i am the one taking care of her. it has affected my education in so many ways. my grades are just slipping. i had to take the mcat early because of the stress and time constraint. i don't even have time to get some Ec's under my belt. but i know that things would be okay. i see bright future for myself and everyone here. i am not about give up easily because i can't imagine myself going into a different field. medicine all the way 👍
 
I know car dealers are just trying to earn a living, but boy do they have a way of ripping people off 😡

exactly, everything happens for a reason. there is reason this happened and the results would be better. just have some faith

Wow, that's some strong dedication. I'm sorry about your mom 🙁 My mom has diabetes, too. I'm afraid I'll get it too someday since it seems to run in my family along with heart disease :scared: It's really awesome that you're able to take care of all of those responsibilities and still maintain really good grades. I'm hoping for the best for all of us. Hopefully one day we can all be there for each other as friends and colleagues. I can't see myself following any other profession either. When I was younger my parents always bugged me about going into medicine, but they stopped and told me to do whatever I want, but I just can't see myself doing anything else. I'm not giving up until there are no other options left. 👍
