I'm just doing lots of review right now. Don't want to waste the precious AAMCs if I'm not gonna be at 100% when I take the MCAT in sept. Gonna cover some gaps in knowledge and then take another AAMC when I do 😀 How is the studying going for you?

Its going good however I have reached a plateau in my scores so Im considering getting new materials. I am so tried I really should have taken the summer off I took 4 courses and have been volunteering at 3 places while trying to study for this thing... its ok im a premed student by day but im a hero by night... tonight i will be saving lives in the ER passing out water and blankets

That's a lot to put on your plate at once 😱 I've just done MCAT prep, but I feel kinda burned out by now. Maybe 2months is my limit 😛

I know, right? So many of us are so similar in this class, it's crazy. I haven't talked to too many people outside this thread, so can't say if that's true for everyone on here :laugh:

Yup all in a days work I am a valuable part of the ER team :laugh: .Sometimes the residents let me do more than that but it depends on whos working that night. Are any you guys in any school clubs?

I had a dream last night that I was volunteering at the hospital and found a hot doctor who was going to let me shadow her...and then I woke up 😛 To answer your question...I'm part of the community service club at my school and pre-med club. Wanted to join some others like bowling and archery club, but it's usually during times I have class or something 🙁

Of course, I think that 2017 rocks beyond any other classes. SDN, in general, attracts a certain crowd. I don't think that it is a bad thing. 🙂

That's my problem too. Archery would be really cool. I suck at bowling, but my grandma rocked. I don't think that we were really related. :laugh:

lol same here... well not about the dream but about the school clubs lol. I can never fit in any more in schedule so thus far I've only joined two but haven't held any leadership positions in any of them. Does being in Honors count?

I have no idea. I'm not sure whether med schools look at Honors or things like that, but if they do, it could only help 🙂 I haven't had any leadership positions either 😛

yeah we actually have mandatory meetings weekly for being in honors so it kind of gets in the way of joining another club. I haven't had any leadership positions in school but in the organizations I volunteer at I have had several. Im thinking about becoming a student Ambassador in the spring. Anyone ever done it?

From the little I do know they have to devote 12-14 hrs a week representing the school during the welcoming week by helping students find their classes and find their way around campus. You also get a scholarship out of it too! Idk what else they do yet

My school does have something like that 😱 But it's too late now to get in and you have to be selected by faculty and nominated for it 😕

Thats weird at my school you just had to do an application and show proof you were actually a student at the school lol. Perhaps its not too late to do get in for the spring?

Idk, it's still a challenge to be nominated by a professor. Don't really know my profesors that well 😛

I can't believe I've taken my MCAT.
It was challenging but I don't feel to bad about it.
The only thing bugging me about the test is that I know I switched one question in the PS from the right to wrong answer with 1 second left. Immediately when the section was finished I was like "Doh!" 😡😡😡

Oh well 😀

I'm sipping some Coronas right now and that beerpong tournament I was telling you guys about yesterday will commence momentarily.

This is going to be a loooong 30 days.

You're done with the worst of it! Party for the next 29 days and worry the day before! Actually, don't worry at all because you know you did well! When you know you weren't crushed by the test, it shows how confident you feel about it 👍👍
