Don't freak out. You're gonna do awesome. Plus it sounds like you have an awesome study buddy. 😀 I think cardiovascular system is sorta confusing too, glad I'm not the only one. I'm gonna have to review that and nephron filtration and immune system like hard in the winter.

Hahaha I love my study buddy! It took him ten whole minutes to explain the concept of "interstitial fluid" to me. For some reason that one is just NOT sticking. I have no idea why. Hmm, nephrons are okay for me because I drilled them in, but I need to go through the immune system again, and finish up the blood/lymphatic system. Then I need to review molecular genetics because I don't remember them at all. Then I need to go through phase changes and stoichiometry. Then rotation/torque/mechanics. Then optics. Then die. 😱

I feel like the cardiovascular system is just a huge system to study, and is therefore really complicated. I mean, capillaries infiltrate pretty much every tissue in the body, so it has to be pretty complicated, right?

It is extremely complicated, but I doubt we have to know it to that much detail for the MCAT. Haven't seen any question that detailed about any subject on practice so far.

I thought so too, until I took a certain AAMC and got boned on two questions that asked very, very detailed questions on the cardiovascular system... I was pretty surprised. It's crazy how much detail we need to know!

It's okay though, I love physiology, so I don't mind studying it 😀

That's a good score! Maybe look over the questions you keep missing? Is there a specific type? Maybe something you haven't really read over? Like maybe, you're not getting all the orgo questions or whatnot?

I've been told by a lot of people that the entire MCAT is pure reading comprehension skills..it's all verbal basically. When are you taking the MCAT? I was told that taking a philosophy class really helps 👍
