Bring your car to this dark alley by the really shady street at midnight, where my dealer will meet you and take you to another location, where he will deliver the goods. It's very hush-hush.

Ooooooohhhhhh. My bad.

Gotcha. how much you chargin?

Ugh, this semester is gonna suck. Biochem doesn't seem that cool, and this lab that I'm taking is gonna be a pain. Hopefully I'll do well. Oh, and like 3 weeks till my MCAT score. I wish I could be in medical school already.

From my ER volunteering experience I only got to make beds on the really good days. Most of the time I walked in circles.
 omg thats what I did when I volunteered!!!!! sometimes I got tired, so i snuck into my car and took a two hour nap until my shift was over :meanie:

I got to talk with the patients, doing clinical research. It was great sometimes. Sometimes they just thought I was some sort of telemarketer though.

Lol thats what I did too before I started volunteering at a teaching hospital. The residents and attendings ask me if I want to watch cool stuff all the time now 👍

You should use that time to flirt with the nurses!

Most of the nurses were super busy and ignored most of the volunteers. After awhile though I had good rapport with a few techs and nurses. It was great because when anything happened they made sure I had a clear view. Which was great until I saw someone die 🙁

The most fun I had was when a tech took me around the hospital so that we could "acquire"(steal) pillows for the ED. He showed me all the secret locations that the other departments kept pillows in and how to avoid getting caught. A lot of hilarious situations ensued especially because some of the departments hid pillows in the bathrooms.

Eh I volunteered at a teaching hospital. The big problem I think was that I was volunteering Sunday evening. Nothing ever happened. When stuff was going on it was great(plastic surgeon let me watch him reattach a finger that was hanging on by a piece of skin) but when it was slow....it was really slow.

I love stealing from other parts of the hospital! :meanie:
