went to a couple pretty awesome costume party last night. I was a banana 🙂 . Today and tomorrow I have to spend studying for an exam I have on monday 👎
 
Yeah, Walking Dead is amazing. I must say the first season is an absolute classic. It gets very drama-ish after that, which I despised, but nonetheless it's still very captivating!

And I don't post in this thread very often, but welcome all of my fellow 2017 classmates 🙂 Good luck to everyone and hopefully we will all make great physicians one day 🙂

I really hope that come next week I can start being part of Class of 2017. Has anyone gotten super lazy in school after getting their first acceptance? I can see that happening to me.

I definitely have! But then I realized that some of the schools that I've interviewed at don't have rolling admissions and look at your first semester grades, so I kind started caring a little bit again ... just a little, hehe 🙂

Non-rolling schools make this more stressful than it needs to be 😛

I feel like I am going to be in limbo for the next 6-8 months -_-' I really need to stop complaining though....

you waiting on schools in particular? You've got a great collection built up already 😛 I'm surprised you haven't withdrawn from like half of the places you're interviewing at.

I like the non-rolling schools over the rolling ones, personally. Rolling's nice if you got interviews everywhere from the start, though, sucks for everyone who got their app in after June.

I'd be surprised if schools are that competitive with each other, though. I didn't think that people had all that much bargaining power after the fact. That being said, no doubt Tots is gonna be sitting pretty at the end of it 👍
 
Yay for being a university employee who has to work through the storm. Expendable pawn. :meanie:
 
I got stranded near the PA/NY border due to the storm. And it hasn't even made landfall yet 🙁

Just make a nice spreadsheet and see where you can make I mean save the most money over 4 years.

Got one of those. My brain wants to go with one of the cheaper medical school options but I am not sure my heart agrees....

Either way I won't be making decisions until all the chips are on the table, which will be awhile.

I'm in the middle of research and simultaneously studying for a cancer biology exam tomorrow (that I haven't had time to study for until now). Plus the NBA is back on tonight and I'm feeling lazy in general. Heaven help me

It happens. Ever since I got accepted, I had no motivation to do any work. And I have three exams next week...

Whatever. Cs get degrees
 
Congratz y'all! Must be nice to finally know you're one step closer in becoming a doc 😛 As most of y'all know from previously, I am no longer part of the class of 2017 group. 😎 I will be graduating next semester though 👍
 
woohooo classes are cancelled for the rest of the week! Although...I wish it didn't have to be at the cost of destruction by hurricane...

LoL, true, but be careful. Some schools require you pass the remainder of your classes with a minimum of a B-.

This. Very much this. I haven't received an acceptance, but I've been feeling extremely lazy all semester and the season isn't going to help.
