It's inevitable. There are crazy people out there with access to guns = accidents. This happens all the time (here and other countries throughout history), but the media decides to focus on that recently.

I agree that it happens all the time. I guess I'm just a little upset that we're at a point where its now a normal thing (not that this is something brand new).

Something similar to the Texas application maybe? I would love for CA to adopt that approach, but we'd need like 3-4 more schools for that. Still waiting for my UC Santa Barbara school of medicine (one can only dream 😛 )

Man, you guys are so lucky you are bored at work. The only time I get to sit down and stop moving during my shift is during lunch :/.

The upside is you aren't running around all day. The downside is the day feels like it's going on forever. My job used to be really busy, and even though I was more stressed I liked how quickly the day seemed to pass.

Yeah I agree with that. A nine hour shift passes very quickly when you have a million things to do at once.

I guess it depends what you are doing. Some of the ones I have had that have been mindless work were definitely hellish... Only got through it thinking about $$ and paying bills.

After my marathon of holiday imbibing, I promised myself I'd keep Jan low-key.. So gym, errands, catching up on Dexter, etc. And maybe a little Sunday Funday for the Pats game :naughty:

Haha nice. I used to have one of those until I got sick of the taste of the coffee. The Keurig cups just don't taste as good to me as freshly brewed coffee.

Good thing it all tastes the same to me 🙂 I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I'm trying to switch from sugary caffeine drinks (soda/energy drinks) to coffee for med school.

Haha good idea, I've always hated
soda but I love Monsters and Rockstars. I am definitely trying to cut those out as well.

I tried 5 hour energies but those make me really antsy sometimes.

I heard Cabin in the Woods was fun? I'm not a fan of horror movies all that much so I can't give any personal suggestions.
