Haha that's what it feels like on SDN sometimes.

I really hope to meet some classmates on here before orientation. I will know where I will be going for sure in a week or two after I get a decision from my top choice. Please accept me!!!!

I'd say there's a 100% chance all of us will be going to a school with other SDNers at them. Unless your school-specific thread is filled entirely with "Rejected 🙁"'s and no med students. In which case, run. Run away.

That seems to be how residencies do it. The stat I saw on the neurosurgeon match statistics were Top 40 (research) vs. not top 40. There seemed to be no difference in going to either of them for match chances. AOA = Match though.

The 2016, 2017 and 2019 (well probably not anymore, boring thread) are under my watch. I try what I can to contribute to these threads. So... I think it's the master work from the 2018ers and 2019ers. 😏

Yes I really liked the school and couldn't see waiting for other schools over Case's IQ groups, their block system, and the people I know who go there say its awesome. I thought the interview experience where everyone was very nice and cool was just that particular day, but my friends say that's how the school actually is.

Only worrisome thing is Cell Biology is a lot more difficult than I thought 🙁 🙁 and I need to really ace the upcoming exams.

Case is a great school, I really enjoyed the times I've spent visiting friends there 🙂 You'll do great!

It's not going to happen anytime in the near future. I like keeping separation between my SDN life, my internet life, and my life.
 
Hmm my top choice is my state school...which has me on the waitlist but has not announced waitlist rankings yet :scared: I only know one other person in this thread that also wants to go there and is also on the waitlist.
