Everything else is good, including comedies & dramas. I've never watched Almost Famous, I did enjoy The Pursuit of Happyness. I am a bit obsessed with While you Were Sleeping (Sandra Bullock... I think a 90s movie)

At my alma mater, their name is called, they open the envelope, say where they matched, and put a pin on a US map. That is it.

I know exactly where in going. And I've received my finaid. I have a scholarship for tuition for my 4 years, which is good since I'm going to a private DO school (~40,000/year). But if I do HPSP next year that will change.

Class of 2017 is the shizzz!

I have decided on Upstate Medical University for the following reasons:

1. I did my undergrad at Syracuse University and I have many research projects that I want to continue at Upstate. My PI, who is a neurosx at Upstate, has been persuading me to come back since I have been accepted. I just don't see any reason to leave when I LOVE my research and will possibly have a chance to pursue a phd as well.

2. IS tuition!!!

3. I LOVE the community and the school. Everyone always says go wherever you think you will be the happiest, and I have loved Upstate since I moved to Syracuse. The students and faculty are all so laid back and friendly.

Just figured I'd share my reasons for my choice just in case it helps any of you make a final decision. It doesn't hurt to see other people's perspectives on their choice.


Anyways, I can't wait to hear all of your final decisions!
 
It's about time for me to hit the road... this should be a pretty cool little road trip. Have a good weekend everyone!

I haven't been to Disneyland in a really long time, but I'll be there on Monday and Tuesday. If any of you are Disneyland enthusiasts and have any advice (e.g. how to best utilize the fastpasses, how to avoid lines, etc.), PM me!

Sounds great! Upstate also has a state contract to conduct health assessments for new refugee arrivals to NYS. If possible, you should check that out 🙂

Wow, I didn't know DO schools handed out full-tuition scholarships, right on! Does HPSP take money out of the equation and allow you to focus on everything else about a school?

So I went on the haunted house thing for the first time two years ago. It started out so well when you're in that room, but as soon as you get in the cart its kind of a bummer 🙁
 
Oooh the haunted house is the best during Halloween when it's transformed into the Nightmare before Christmas theme!

They don't. It is a scholarship that I received from another organization. I would have to commit to a certain set of primary care specialties.

And yes, HPSP takes money from consideration, but opens other debates concerning the program itself. I'm already set on attending the school I've been accepted to, so I'm not considering any other schools.

I mainly only listen to old stuff I have.. Maybe Caliban and As I Lay Dying are the only guys putting out music from them... maybe every now and then I branch out and download something from a new group.. Also get the free samplers every now and then. All started when a friend got me started on Converge back in HS :laugh:



I mainly listen to electro followed by rap/hip hop now..
 
Don't know if any of you listen to Hip-Hop, but Lil Wayne looks like he's on his way out.
