Ugh. Not feeling so well. At least I didn't make a fool of myself on the forum, lol.
 
Someone should create a PSA for family members of future medical students. It should address how it is inappropriate to ask a FUTURE med student for medical advice. It should tell them not to be disappointed when that future med student says "I don't know. Ask your doctor." It should also explain that the med school acceptance letter does not instantly give the future med student all medical knowledge and diagnostic skills in the world.

I know! But I will be moving far enough away that it won't be a constant thing. Every time they ask, I tell them "IM NOT A DOCTOR!"

Then they are like "what the hell have you been in school so long for?"
 
Best thing about working on a weekend? Getting to blast my music and dance around in the lab.
 
Do you know what feels awesome? Looking back at this cycle and knowing how many interview invites I got, attending three of them and then ultimately getting accepted to every school I interviewed at... with one being my top choice.

Finally going to the bar tonight to celebrate the proper way with everyone getting trashed.


The problem is that I am not going out for another 4.5 hours because I am on the west coast.

You got into your top choice, theres no greater reason than to start drinking now.
 
I finally got smart this year and picked ND to lose in the first round. Kind of bittersweet, if they're going to lose at least I get points for it in my bracket...am I a bad fan?

My bracket for the west was completely busted this weekend (dang you Gonzaga!). The good news is the other brackets remain almost perfect!

I originally said it was a work in progress. Haha

I think it is going to stay like this for a while. I am no tots. This is the best I can do. His school specific avatars that he designed were amazing.
 
So I guess I got bored and decided to take a class through coursera.com 😱

The class is by the University of Pennsylvania and is titled "Health Policy and the Affordable Care Act", so it should be fun!

I wanted to at least be aware of the major changes and policies going into effect.

The class is free and you even get a certificate when finished. :laugh:
