Interview Invitation Extended for (school name):
-NEOMED
-University of Tenessee
-East Tenessee State University
-Charleston

Date Interview Scheduled: All in January
Accepted (indicate school attending):

Got accepted into all 4 schools that I interviewed at, though I also applied to OSU and University of Cincinnati and have heard NOTHING from either of them. Not even a rejection.

PCAT 90
GPA(Overall, Science) 3.05,2.95

Extracurricular/Experience:
6 months working as a tech at CVS (30 hours/week)

From what I can tell, an interview invitation means that you look good enough on paper to accept. The interview is more of a chance for you to blow it than it is for you to shine, in my opinion.

wow we have very similar stats. I still haven't heard anything from UC either, interviewed in early January. They said it could take 2 days-2 months I believe. Be patient, at least you know you got accepted to other programs and will have options!

No PA or medical school? You deserve better!

Haha yes I have heard that from many others as well! To be honest, I just frankly would not like to be a physician or PA. Yes the autonomy is nice, and I figure you would feel nice at the end of the day having a direct impact on others' health and lives, but I much prefer pharmacy. I really enjoy pharmacotherapy and as much as I tried to rationalize the idea to do medicine, I just couldn't. Medicine is just not for me, and I'm okay with that. :)

If/when the job market goes into shambles, I think you'll be one of the very few and successful left in the "survival of the fittest" competition coming to theaters near us. You know what you're getting into, your grades are stellar, and you seem prepared! =)
