Haha, it really sucks to be in Cali, but there probably are very few applicants working as hard as you are. And there are always private schools!

i took an intro to chem before i did chem 101..i have to say it's helping aaalootttt 👍

it's important to have a solid background in chemistry. you're doing a smart thing nctw!

Indeed, my good sir. I took chemistry in high school the fall of my sophomore year, and was somewhat unmotivated in the course. At my school, gChem is the weed-out course that most freshmen fail, and although I'm confident in my work ethic and studying abilities, I didn't want to risk it 🙂

Just called up my lawyer and he said that you have to sign it. He also charged me $4000 for a measly 2 min call... Drats... I should have been pre-Law (jk jk. I'd never even think about selling my soul for money)

This is what I figured. It's better to completely understand all of the prereqs for chem than to go on and struggle. All skyscrapers begin as a foundation

That's a good choice. You definitely don't want to take a risk and that course should mos def bump up your grade 🙂

Absolutely! I have the blue edition with the funky molecules on the cover. It's sitting on my bed, but I'm too lazy to reach over. I think it's the new edition since it cost a buttload. I love it when people actually doing the work as me questions, so go ahead!

👍 I had a lot of exposure to science, so both chem in general and Tro look sort of basic to me, but I understand that I've been extremely lucky to have the opportunities I have had and not everyone has had them.

Knowing Calc makes Kinematics so much easier. I didn't figure out why the rate laws are the way they are until I learned integration and differential equations. Is Electrochem included in Chem 2?
