Yeah, DA is finally starting to click for me. I was so stressed last week, thinking I wasn't going to make it, and now I'm finally starting to get it.
Bio 2 in my college was basically A&P, but extremely detailed, and it added insects and plants to the mix. I'm taking a Genetics course right now. If you're interested, there's a set of videos by a group called 23andMe that's on YouTube. It explains everything and makes it interesting too.
Language immersion is really the best, and it also gets you to learn slang. You'll never really learn slang words/phrases or colloquial phrases in a typical language class. But you'll get it in the country itself. I encourage everyone to do a study abroad trip in the country of their choice, if they have the means to do so. It's a fantastic experience!
That's the best feeling! 🙂
Oh, interesting! Are you a sophomore then, with plans to take a gap year? And ahhh, thanks! I will definitely look that up 🙂 Thanks so much!!
No kidding. I feel like what we learn in language classes is so formal and unlike what people of that country actually speak like. I wish that the pre-med schedule allowed for an actual semester of study abroad :/ I just can't find any time for me to go abroad other than the summer.
