Not at all! Announcers do use statements like that quite frequently regarding baseball. And, to be fair, the college baseball is about a month into the season, so it really wasn't an unreasonable question

I thrifted a suit that kinda fits so I'm just going to roll with that.

I can't get into the pants of my nice suit and there are a few other minor issues that need to be addressed.

Just sat my family down and had The Financial Aid Conversation. Y'know, the one where you discuss your impending six-figure debt and the fact that you kind of would like some $$$$ from them. I'd been dreading this since the day I applied but:

Whew. We drafted up a plan, made some compromises, didn't have to raise our voices, and had cheese fondue for supper ('cause that's totally St. Patrick's Day cuisine 🙄). Hope you guys get some good news this week!

I dunno about y'all, but I'm ready to see some waitlist action! These forums need a little something more to celebrate.

Haha, I was thinking the opposite! But that's because all this torturous waiting seems to take forever...it makes a few months feel like years. :dead:
