It was situational questions more than anything. They started off with a few basic interview questions like what do I do in my spare time/interests and then what would I do in ____ situations. Overall it was a welcoming environment!

It was one faculty and one current student, when you sign up for an interview time you’re able to see who will be conducting your interview. This is great in a sense that you can do your research on the faculty member to ask a good question at the end

Thanks! It was a really comfortable interview! I got the feeling that they just wanted to know more about me. I had 4 faculty members interview me and they were great about continuing conversation so it didn't seem so one sided.

So the interview was great and went much better than I expected. This was my first interview so I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect, but the faculty were so welcoming and really just wanted to get to know me better. No difficult, pressuring questions I just answered questions about my discovery and future in optometry. I was interviewed by a panel of 3 faculty and one of the faculty I actually knew beforehand from when I visited the school! I hope this helps 🙂
