I am currently signed up for a physiology class at a community college in order to raise my gpa. Since people are saying community college credit doesn't really count towards making your transcript look better, should I instead drop the class and look into TA'ing at the community college for an anatomy professor I had?

no TA'ing doesnt raise your GPA but i can get a letter of recommendation from her. I would try to take a class at a university, but they are currently in session at the moment and i have to wait for the spring quarter

Either choice is equally impressive.

I'm a little confused...
What do you mean cc credits don't count towards raising your GPA??

Dropping from a university level to cc level is like dropping from cc to high school level courses/ta.

How do you figure? My CC courses were equally difficult as my university courses.

Not the point. Doc's saying neither using a CC class to raise GPA nor TAing a CC class would have much weight, if any, on admissions.

I guess I misread it, then.

Would I be able to use a letter of recommendation from my CC professor?
