Just a general question: Do most medical schools accept prereqs from your final semester in school. So, if I had to take another class the spring of 10 could I still matriculate in fall 10?

EDIT: Also does anyone know of people getting rejected / application not reviewed because they are unsure about their prereqs?

I think most would accept, but to be sure check the med school website, they usually stipulate whether they went the prereqs completed by the time of application or by the time of graduation.

Almost always yes, they'll accept it. Otherwise they'd be requiring that you sit in classes your last semester for no reason (or force you to graduate early).

When I got accepted (or even waitlisted, in one case), they sent me a little reminder that I had to complete my requirements (in my case, x credits of English) before I could matriculate. It's not in anyone's best interest to let that sneak up anyone.

Thanks!!! This was an answer that I was hoping to hear.
