ok...we've heard it a million times...if you are enrolled in a private institute...like nyu or bu or tufts or syracuse...and you take classes at a state school it looks bad....

but...I've heard about a girl who was like an anthropology major at syracuse...took a year and took classes at a state school did phenom on DAT and went to columbia...so i was thinking of doing the same thing...my gpa at syracuse isn't bad..its a 3.4 and the sci gpa is a 2.7 (i know its pitiful)...but im only taking 2 more sci classes next semester say i got A's in them...and then i got straight a's on 4 of the core bcp classes...would i get in?...basically I want to hear every1s story...if theyve ever done this...there thoughts etc...

try running a search for this topic... its been covered many times. where you go isnt as important as how you do in the classes and how you do on the DAT.

I got in with a 3.1 science GPA and 2.99 BCP, although it took me 4 DAT tests and 3 years applying, and I didn't get into Columbia, nor did I apply there, but I have perfected the runon sentence!
