I need to get some recommendations from science professors. The pre-medical program at my university requires 3. Should I ask both professors who taught the class or just one? Is it considered bad etiquette? I don't want to offend anyone. I enjoyed the class, participated in class with both professors and am not picky about who I get. Both would obviously be very beneficial too. What would you do?

Ask anyone at anytime, anywhere, anything. I've been in Nursing school with a class of about 40 something and there were about 4-5 nurses teaching one class. By all means, it's not offensive or rude.

Pre-medical is like a hollywood teenage film. It's so funny and serious all at the same time.

Most of my upper level classes in undergrad (e.g., physiology, pharmacology, etc.) were taught by multiple professors. It's not bad etiquette to ask one professor and not the others. Choose whoever can write a strong letter about you.

I think that if you get two letters from professors in the same lecture, it will raise a few eyebrows and looks a tiny bit lazy. It's hard, but you should pick the prof you were closer to and ask for the rec.
