I've just decided to switch from pre-med to pre-pharm...I'm going to have the medical pre-req classes plus genetics but no other sciences (math major.) I've looked at the pre-pharm class recommendations and they're all like, biochemistry and economics and so forth. Are these classes you legitimately need to take to get into pharmacy school?

Well it depends on where you decide to apply. Biochem typically isn't a pre-req but economics usually is. Look at some of the schools you think you want to apply to and see what they require.

Biochem was a pre-req for all the schools I was interested in, as was economics. Other schools require organic chem, physics, stats, sometimes advanced inorganic chem. Depends on the school(s) you're interested in.
