I am currently doing my prereq for UF.

On the site below, its says General, inorganic chemistry – 8 semester hours (12 quarter hours).

http://www.dental.ufl.edu/Offices/Admissions/DMD/prerequisites.asp

Does that mean I hav to take both general and inorganic chem? or are they consider the same? Cause they said we need 8 semester hours and 1 chem class is already 4 hours.

And what is the highest math i need to take?? My biology major at UCF only goes up to Calc 1 which I am takin right now.

and according to the site above. Anatomy and Physiology is recommended but not required? do i still hav to take it?

im pretty sure you only need to take general chem.

math is not required, but some schools recommend calc and stats. so if you take calc and stats that should be enough.

you dont have to take it. like the website said it is recommended. i tired to take as many recommended classes i could.

All schools are different but basics for most schools are:

Chem 1 & 2
Organic Chem 1 & 2
Biology
Physics 1 & 2
Calculus

..and I think thats the basics; however more is always better to make you a more competitive applicant. Good luck.

if i get a C in calc...is that something i hav to worry about ??
