What are some of the classes to be taken your first year in Pharmacy school???

Mostly some more basic sciences classes like biochemistry, pathophysiology, clinical assessment etc.

We had an experiential practice class that matched us with a community pharmacy to do some assignments that provided an introduction to pharmacy (it's a real drag for students with experience already). The course also required us to teach some really simple nutrition modules to elementary school kids. That was a pretty positive experience. In addition, we had a short ethics course and a couple of healthcare economics courses. Then we had all the stuff Butlerpharmd mentioned.

Biochem, Physio, Micro, Immuno, drug structures, dosage form design, introduction to practice experience, calculations, health systems....start therapeutics the last quarter... At MWU... 2nd yr is the hardest, then 1st year and then 3rd year. 4th yr is all rotations and those are fun!
