Hi, i'm currently living in Germany, 18 years old, and we will move to Alabama at end of the month. I don't have a highschool diploma and want to study pharmacy, so i thought of taking the GED when i get over there (got american citizenship 🙂) and then apply at UAB for the next possible term.
IF everything works fine up to that point, who knows what could happen, i would take the necessary pre-requisite courses at UAB and then apply for Samford University.
My problem here is that out of the prerequisite courses, i've already had Calculus 1, Organic Chemistry I and General Chemistry I here in Germany, or at least all the points that are in the summary. I would like to do that CLEP thing for those (and for German, just to get 8 extra credits :O). According to the UAB regulations for CLEP, i can do it on those courses.
My question is: Is that possible? How would that interfere with my application to pharmschools? And how would that work with the GPA?
