I know that at least some schools specifically do not accept any type of clep or AP course credit. I took the AP test many years ago and did not have to take English comp I, and will now have to take it in the spring because the schools I'm applying to do not accept that AP credit. Strange since many accept correspondence courses for non-science classes.
IIRC, AP is more universal, clep is more university specific, so I think the chances of a med school taking clep credit is slim unless perhaps you went to their undergraduate school.
Best thing is to check the specific admissions policies of the schools you are interested in.
