It's a cash grab. I heard they charge thousands just for the application fees and several more thousands for "training sessions", and the fees keep going up each year. I also heard that theyre under a lot of scrutiny and may have their coda approval revoked in the future. But these are just rumors for now, take it with a grain of salt.
