to someone who took the dat recently.. would you say cliffs explains things in a lot more detail than the dat needs? or would you say everything in cliffs is absolutely essential to know? im a biology major and there are so many terms in this cliffs book i have never even heard of before! im killing myself trying to get through all this bio material. any advice on how to get in it my head? please help :scared:

thanks a lot!

I suggest you know everything in cliff's (with the exception of plant stuff) if you're aiming for a 20+ in the bio section of your real exam.

when you say "with the excetion of plant stuff", you mean the dat doesnt test at all on whats written in the plant chapter of the cliffs book?

thanks for your help!

I can't say the DAT will NEVER test you on plants for 100%, but I can tell you that they rarely do. I've taken the exam twice and never have I seen a single question on plants!

I had 1 plant question and it was fairly simple. Even if you didn't study plants it was common sense. But I would just go over Cliff's anyway since I hear it's so helpful. My copy should be coming in soon. I already blew threw Shaum's Outline.
