I just started going through the Cliffs tests after I finished the Kaplan book. Are the Cliffs tests extremely easy compared to the PCAT? I am breezing through the questions and they are much easier than Kaplans.

imo, cliff's bio question are really easy

their chem is harder than kap

their verbal is a lot harder than kap

math is easier than kap (both really sucks for pcat for what i hear)

reading is about the same

I found the cliff's tests to be extremely easier than the real PCAT.

I took the test recently in August, the 25th. Their verbal and reading are a lot easier than the real PCAT. Cliff's tests also have a lot of wrong explanations/info in their reasonings. I am using Barron's and Peterson's books along with the new Kaplan book. Is any of those good?

I did cliff's test prep, kaplan and "top score for the pcat" cd. I would say the cliff's test prep was good prep but it is important to do as many and as much prep as you can (I'm sure you know that).
The reading comprehension was so hard on the real test!!! Way harder than the cliff's test prep. but keep in mind that I consider myself not very good at reading comp sections.
So, kaplan reading comp was about the same as the real test.
Cliff's math was about the same as the real test (but remember, there is no geometry on the pcat).
Cliff's chem was about the same as the real test.
Cliff's bio was about the same (maybe a little easier).
Practice writing as much as possible! I got a 96 overall but did not do well on the writing.
I think in general, kaplan is usually thought of as harder than the real test and I would say that is true but kaplan is not extremely harder, jsut a little harder. Top score for the pcat is hard but a good review because they have a timer!
So, if you're breezing through cliff's review, that's a good thing. Now you can practice using a timer, practice writing a lot!, reading comprehension is hard.

i am nt much familiar abt the resources available out there. IS the cliffs tht u guys mentioned some sort of book? Is it available online? Does anyone knw abt any free websites where i can take practice tests? Thank you very much for all ur help.

The Cliff's book has a set of five practice tests in it. Probably your only option is to buy it, but my local library actually had it available as an online book. There was a long waiting line for that though! Most of the websites I came across for PCAT practice maybe had 20 questions on them. You are better off buying the books. If you don't mark in them, you can always return them.😀

i've taken the cliff's practice test. i miss on average 10-15 on each section (except math). This seems like a lot, and i'm worried i'm not ready for the october pcat. has anyone done well on the real pcat, but nto so well on the practice cliffs?

Cliff's math was about the same as the real test (but remember, there is no geometry on the pcat).

So there is no geometry? Is that new because the Kaplan book has a TON of geometry.
