What's the balance of clinic time versus surgical time?

For attendings, the average I see thrown around the most is 1-2 days of surgery/week (contrast this to residency, which is very surgical). There is an option to do more surgery days depending on whether you sub-specialize and how you structure your practice.

Remember that a large portion of your income is generated by cystoscopic procedures. I have seen 1-2 surgery days with .5-1 days of cysto mixed with surgery, and 2 days of clinic. The best part is: home call on weekends that consist of 1 hours worth of rounding.
