Anyone have any impression of the blueprints books for (pediatrics, medicine, surgery, OB/GYN).

How about Surgical recall?

Current clinical strategies for OB/GYN?

As you may have guessed I have come across some used books for sale and would like to know which are the best to get for 3rd year.

From a personal standpoint, the only Blueprints worth your $$$ is the OB/GYN (haven't looked at peds, though). I overall prefer First Aid as a series.

Surgical Recall isn't bad.

For OB/GYN, the best pocket book IMO is the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility: Handbook for Clinicians-Resident Survival Guide

Blueprints Ob/Gyn: good for rotation/pimp protection, weak for shelf (Case Files is the bomb for shelf).

Blueprints peds: good for rotation.

Blueprints med: did not use, preferred Step Up

Surgical Recall: great pimp protection and gen support, not enough for exams

Current clinical strategies for Ob/Gyn: unnecessary, see above.

i just read your post regarding Step I and really liked the idea of using the computer memo software. I was wondering if you still had your memo files for stepI and if you could share them with me. Your sdn settings dont allow me to email you so that's why I am writing to you here. Sorry to everyone else on this forum for posting this personal message. goodluck to you all!
