Clinical externship

Hi, I am a IMG and I want to do a clinical externship in internal medicine the next year in Houston TX or around, I have been looking for a lot! I find Externships provided by IMG PREP-A POST GRADUATE MEDICAL RESIDENCY CONSULTATION. They offer you U.S. Clinical experience, personalized counseling, residency program database, malpractice insurance, interview preparation, etc. Their Enrollment fees for Externships and other minor services are said to be 5350 US$ plus 1500 US$ for Medical Malpractice.


Has anyone had any experience with them?


Please, answer this question if anybody have some information about them or about other association that can help us to do an extership. Or if somebody have been in an externship rotation.

I suggest you google search these companies. There's a lot of debate about them in other forums. What I came across is mostly a negative feedback. Think carefully before dealing with them.

I am Dr Kiran. finished my STep 1 -99 🙂, step 2-96 🙁. I am planning to my step 2 CS in may 1st week 2009. also externship in US in june - july 2009. i am also navigating through google etc to find extership program. i found chopras as one of the contact. i called them they said they will provide extership program they directly deal with some medical school in US. for general/Internal medicin it is 4 week program 2155$ . as i am also planning for medicin i asked for that. if you know much about this externship kindly let me know. my mail id is [email protected] if i find more wil let u know.
