We are pleased to announce a new fellowship program in Clinical Informatics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. We are looking for 2 fellows to begin training in July 2014.
Fellows should have completed training in a primary specialty (such as Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine), be eligible to practice medicine in Maryland, and have documented
experience or aptitude in Health IT. The fellowship package includes a salary, health insurance, and other benefits.
Clinical Informatics is the newest ABMS subspecialty, which focuses on biomedical data, computational systems, and clinical process improvement applied to the practice medicine. The program is designed
to meet the training requirements (as they are established) for ACGME board certification in Clinical Informatics.
