Clinical pathology rotation

I'd say no. Completely different field. The IMGs I know all did electives/observerships in IM (usually IM subspecialty) fields. If it's the only rotation you can possibly get, at least you'll have US LoRs for your application ... but overall I wouldn't think it'll be a boost to your application.

That said, I have less experience with IMGs/IMG-heavy programs than some other people, so if someone with more experience in that area disagrees, I'd defer to their opinion.
