If a person has high ferritin, low iron and low transferrin, what picture does that paint? Anemia of chronic disease?

btw, a point made about ACD that changes form step 1 studying to real life clinicals: ACD is normally NORMOCYTIC, and only gets MICROCYTIC when severe. I think I read a journal article once that said hemoglobin has to be <8 before it gets microcytic, but don't quote me on that. I know all the board review books group it under microcytic.
