I am wondering if some experienced faculty or senior faculty can comment on my situation :
have
-at a non competitive school and a non competitive stduent but building up my resume etc--looking for radiology (medium level competitive)
-STEP / comlex yet to be taken
-currently doing rotations that are hydrid online and some inperseon but mostly hydrid
I know I need good letters and if this trend of lmited contact continues in spring, it will be hard to get the rotations.
I am thinking of taking spring semster off and use that time to do reearch and take the boards.
Fall: do my longs
Spring: complete 4th year electives + aways rotations
fall: apply
I kow it will be hard to convince my school etc , but let me know . I am trying to avoid signign a 12 month lease for this reason and appreciate your input.
