Dear Colleagues--We are inviting clinical medical students in the medical
school classes of 2006 and 2007 to complete the following IRB approved
survey. Please help us out by filling out this survey and/or forwarding
this e-mail to ALL clinical students at your school.
Dear Fellow Medical Students,
We would like to invite you to participate in a 10-minute national
medical-student survey regarding clinical clerkship performance
evaluations. Earlier studies suggested that communication skills and other
behaviors might influence clerkship evaluations and that these factors
might differ between students of various cultural backgrounds. While these
initial studies were performed in Asian medical students, we seek to
identify social and cultural factors that might be associated with the
clerkship performance of ALL clinical medical students.
Please go to this link to complete the voluntary and anonymous survey
online.

It should only take about 10 minutes to complete. Neither individual
participants nor schools will be identified in any publication or
presentation of the results.
Clinical medical students of ALL ethnicities/races are encouraged to
respond. Please join our efforts to answer questions that are directly
relevant to our own and future students academic and professional careers.
Thank you very much for your consideration of this important project, and
we hope you will take the time to complete the survey.
Sincerely,
Kathy Lee
