Hello:
I had a question about the quality of rotations in New York. I heard that SGU offers better clinical rotations than Ross because SGU tends to keep its students in the same hospital or within one area. On the other hand, Ross has its students moving several times to do rotations in many hospitals.
I am a bit concerned about this, so does anyone know how much truth there is in this statement?
I applied to both schools and did very well in both interviews so I am trying to get enough information about both schools before I make a decision. I am having a hard time deciding which school would be better because I have heard good things about both schools. I read on another post that some programs give preference to SGU grads over Ross or they will only take SGU grads as the only FMGs. I'm not sure how much truth there is to these statements or if they only apply to the competitive residencies. I had pediatrics or OB/GYN in mind and those are not very competitive.
Thanks, I appreciate the help. 🙂
