I know Clinical Scientist Training Programs are usually after med school, but how do they differ from MSTP's in terms of the types of research they do?

Also, aside from clinical trials, what else does "clinical research" entail?

clinical trials are only one type of clinical research; you'll learn more about the others [various studies] in epi/biostat/evidence based med courses. but as far as i understand, that is the general sort of work that falls under clinical research; i do'nt know of any others besides that - anyone else?
