Hi guys, what is the average of volunteer hours that I need to do before applying to Dental school in general in the case that I want to be a decent appplicant?

I think you are mistaking volunteering with shadowing. There is no Min/Max for volunteering. It shows your maturity and readiness to be involve in your community.

For shadowing, I think the min is 25hrs and some schools like to see 100+, so unless if you are going to apply to those schools I would go with 50-60 hours and that should be plenty.

I worked in a hospital for 3 year as a volunteer and a research assistant + I shadow a doctor in a dental clinic for haft a year. That would be more than enough rite ?

There's no number that exists that says you have to have this much or you won't get in (unless it's a requirement) or if you do twice as much as asked then you will get in. You application is a conglomerate and it will be considered as such. The individual pieces contribute a small part.
