As you can see my stats ( click the left Predent ID ), I don't really have alot of hour of Clinical Volunteer.. Does it really matter ? I have alot of volunteer and shadowing..

Also, does the volunteer hour have to be calculated among college years ? ( because I just heard that volunteer hours only valid during college years )

for me this doesn't make any sense because I have been volunteering in my whole life since I was like six years old with my parents and after I got into college I moved out from home and I didn't really do it but when I came back home I went to the place to see my people ( I don't even want to call it " volunteer" )

however, if dental school is so cared about " how many hours " " volunteer within college years " these are just stupid to me..

what make them to think " volunteer IN THE COLLEGE YEARS" is worth ?

what a bull****..

You don't need clinical hours. Ample shadowing is all you need. As for what "counts" for volunteering, it really depends on what you're talking about. The whole college-only thing is a guideline more than an absolute rule.

Whatever impact you thought you had while volunteering you did as a 6 year old was insignificant. You probably thought it mattered, but it really didn't.

The whole college-years volunteering thing is for traditional applicants, and they want to see someone who manages to keep a good GPA while also having time to volunteer.

A usually guideline is to include everything you've done since high school.

Hope this helps.

Your ECs look pretty stacked. I think you could put 2 hours of volunteering and be perfectly fine. Ranger sniper? That'll stand out.
