My longterm career goal is to work as a clinician educator following either a medicine or med/peds residency +/- fellowship (h/o or cards). I'm not well informed of tracks individuals pursue to accomplish this. Just from a quick search, it looks like there are residency programs with this focus (e.g. BID, Stanford), but there are also clinician educator fellowships. If anyone knows of a good resource for (a) learning more about various tracks into the role of clinician educator and (b) lists of IM or med/peds programs that have an education focus (or good ways to figure out which programs do), I'd appreciate anything you might have!

So what's your question?

I'm not sure what isn't clear about that, but if you can explain, I'd be happy to try to elucidate

Sorry, missed that part. Apparently Peds has general academic fellowships after Peds residency but have never heard of a clinician educator track during the actual residency.
