clubs and extracurriculars

Does anyone think it matters much whether or not you are in a lot of clubs and stuff. I didn't really join many clubs and definately did not take any leadership positions in any of the ones that did join. Does anyone think this will matter when I apply to EM residency. I hate clubs.

I don't think it makes that muhc of a difference. But if you are a pessimistic, anti-social, poor communication-skills medical student, and that's why you hate clubs, then that may hinder your application, methinks.
